Story

How We Became Friends explores people trapped in their own reality and their own truth, whose world collapses and whose lives have to be rebuilt.

A self-centred compulsive achiever takes his work stress out on his family and is forced to wake up to reality when his wife takes everything from him. At the same time the other parties to his shady deals arrive to collect what they are owed. Meanwhile a child protection official cannot accept her husband’s decision to leave her, tries to make his life hell by any means and forgets to live herself.

One is saved by the good people around him; the other has to face the consequences of her actions.
